Cancellation Policy
In the event a student needs to cancel, a make-up lesson will be offered only if 24 hours’ notice is provided. No shows or lessons not cancelled within 24 hours must be paid for in full. There are no refunds or credits towards tuition for forfeited lessons.
Makeups: Only lessons cancelled prior to 24 hours qualify for a makeup. In the event studio space is not available for a makeup lesson your instructor may offer you a virtual makeup lesson. If you are not available for any makeups offered you must pay for the missed lesson. It is your responsibility to prioritize your private lesson reservation above other commitments.
Instructor Absence: If your instructor is absent you may be placed with a substitute instructor. No credit or make-up will be given if a substitute is provided. If a substitute cannot be provided and a make-up cannot be scheduled after instructor absence, a credit will be given towards a future lesson or a refund will be processed.
Refund Policy
After the first class, if a student does not wish to continue, we can place the student into a different class if desired. If an alternate class does not work, a full refund will be issued. After the student has attended the second class in the semester, a credit for future classes will be issued. Dancer's Edge/Musician's Edge reserves the right to hold lessons in studio or online as necessary. If you request a refund prior to the start of a class, lesson, or camp, there is a $25 processing fee. If you wish to hold a credit on your account instead of receiving a refund, there is no processing fee. This will be deducted from the amount refunded. Refunds and credits will be issued within two weeks of written notification if the student does not want to continue the class. Dropping and transferring of classes must be submitted in writing. Competition Fees, Multi-Payment Fees, Late Fees, and Costume Fees are non-refundable. This refund policy does not apply to camps, workshops or specialty clinics. For regular classes only. Full refunds (minus the $25 processing fee) can be issued for summer camps, workshops or specialty clinics if notified 2 weeks prior to the first day. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of camps, workshops or specialty clinics, a credit will be issued for future goods or services provided by Dancer's Edge and/or Musician's Edge. Credits issued by Dancer's Edge/Musician's Edge never expire.
