Cancellation Policy
In the event a student needs to cancel, a make-up lesson will be offered only if 24 hours’ notice is provided. No shows or lessons not cancelled within 24 hours must be paid for in full. There are no refunds or credits towards tuition for forfeited lessons.
Makeups: Only lessons cancelled prior to 24 hours qualify for a makeup. In the event studio space is not available for a makeup lesson your instructor may offer you a virtual makeup lesson. If you are not available for any makeups offered you must pay for the missed lesson. It is your responsibility to prioritize your private lesson reservation above other commitments.
Instructor Absence: If your instructor is absent you may be placed with a substitute instructor. No credit or make-up will be given if a substitute is provided. If a substitute cannot be provided and a make-up cannot be scheduled after instructor absence, a credit will be given towards a future lesson or a refund will be processed.
Refund Policy
After the first lesson, if a student does not wish to continue, we can allow a student to try different lessons if desired. If an alternate lesson does not work, a full refund will be issued. After the student has attended the second lesson in the semester, a credit for future lessons will be issued. Musician's Edge reserves the right to hold lessons in studio or online as necessary. Refunds and credits will be issued two weeks from written notification if the student does not want to continue with lessons. Dropping and transferring of lessons must be submitted in writing. Multi-Payment Fees are non-refundable. This refund policy does not apply to camps, workshops or specialty clinics. For regular lessons only. Full refunds can be issued for summer camps if notified 2 weeks prior to the first day of camp. If you cancel within 2 weeks of the start of camp, a credit will be issued for future goods or services provided by Musician's Edge. Credits issued by Musician's Edge never expire.
